Facing west, small, plain, slate to: Joseph Bampton d. 22nd Mar 1768 aet 54. Poem:- Farwell my Wife and Children dear/ Within this world Ive left behind/ Do not bemope nor shed a tear/ Eternity be sure you mind-. Calligraphy similar to a Belvoir Angels sculptor, but of rather late date. (Photo Mar 2014).
