Wall and gates, C17/C18 and early C20. Ham stone coursed rubble, ashlar dressings. Wall extends from south-east corner
of the Dower House (q.v), about 2.5 metres high with angled coping; then a flat arched gateway in hollow-chamfered
recess with quasi-gable over, and boarded gate; about 5 metres from the house the carriage archway; 3-centre arch with
moulded imposts and architrave, and flanking Tuscan pilasters on plinths carrying a plain entablature and pediment
which has an oval plaque set in; the wrot iron gates probably early C20, with circular rods, twist arrowheads to bottom
rail and scroll decoration to top rail. The whole adds to the setting of the Dower House and to the village green,
which it overlooks.
