Former coach house and hay loft on north west side of Bucklane to west of
Ackworth School

Former coach house, now store. Early C19. Coursed squared sandstone, and a
stone slate roof. Rectangular plan, 2 storeys, symmetrical, with 3 bay
blocked arcade at ground floor; basket-arched former wagon entrances, the
arches springing from square capitals of 2 massive cylindrical piers, and the
outer ends of the outer arches dying into short terminal walls; right-hand
(north) gable wall has another blocked arch. At first-floor a set of 3
blocked windows with flush ashlar surrounds, the right hand (north) gable wall
has a plank loft door.
