A late C19 or early C20 red brick lodge with purple brick diapering. The
front breaks forward with a Dutch gable and is connected to the entrance
wall, side gateway and piers of Christchurch Park. The windows are double-hung
sashes, with glazing bars in the upper sashes. The front has a 3-light bay
window on the ground storey. Roof tiled.
Nos 2 to 8 (even), No 1 (Lodge to Christchurch Mansion), Entrance Wall
and Gates to Christchurch Park and Brick Wall to St Margaret's Churchyard
form a group with Nos 56 and 58 (Cafe Blanchfleur), St Margaret's Street.
