A C18 red brick house. 2 storeys attics and cellars. 5 window range, double-hung
sashes without glazing bars, in flush cased frames. A central 6-panel door
with the upper panels glazed has a wood doorcase with moulded shouldered
architrave, a projecting keystone and a pediment. The ground storey has
a C20 shop window. Roof slate, with 2 hipped dormers and a modillion eaves
cornice.

Nos 2 to 8 (even), No 1 (Lodge to Christchurch Mansion), Entrance Wall
and Gates to Christchurch Park and Brick Wall to St Margaret's Churchyard
form a group with Nos 56 and 58 (Cafe Blanchfleur), St Margaret's Street.
