Manse. c 1888, by James Cubitt at the same time as the church on Charing Cross
Road q.v. Red brick with stone and terracotta dressings, slate roof. Free Gothic
and Romanesque details. 4 storeys and attic. 2 bays divided by engaged column:
end pilasters. Windows on either side arranged in rising order as:2 (with one
incorporating door), 4, 2, 6 and a 2-light Tudor arched attic window in gable.
Semicircular and segmental arched openings chamfered with roll mouldings on stone
imposts. Moulded strings to each floor. Lesenes rise through attic to stone
finials on the gable coping.
