Pair of cottages linked to the farmhouse (west), early C19. Brown brick in Flemish,
and English Garden Wall Bonds with slate roof. 2 storeys;1 bay each. Single light
multi-paned cast-iron Gothic Revival casements, with interlaced head tracery under
Tudor Arches. The windows have small 4-pane centrally positioned opening lights
and those in the facade have stone sills. The front elevation is in Flemish Bond
with framed, braced and ledged doors under blocked semi-circular headed fanlights.
The gable-end (east) and rear are in English Garden Wall Bond. The rear doors are
framed, ledged and braced under segmental arches. Shared central chimney stack.
Interior: Two rooms ground floor and first floor, boarded doors, cottage winder
staircase in west cottage also exposed ceiling joists.
