Farmhouse, now house. Early C17 with later additions and alterations.
Timber framed with painted brick infill and plinth; concrete tile roof.
Original 2-cell plan with prominent late C20 addition at right-angles
to rear. One storey and attic. Framing: square panels, 3 from cill
to wall-plate, with short straight tension braces to front; 2 large
rectangular panels with jowled wall post and raking struts from collar
to left gable end. C20 casements in panels of framing, 2 to left and
one to right of contemporary glazed door with raking eaves dormers directly
above. Rebuilt internal end stack to left has tall, narrow brick shaft.
Interior: ground-floor rooms knocked into one. Rebuilt inglenook fireplace
and 2 chamfered spine beams and heavy joists to former left room; original
joists to former right room. Late C20 additions are not of special
architectural interest.
