A small C18 timber-framed and plastered house with C19 and later alterations.
The front is of painted brick and there is some weatherboarding at the rear.
2 storeys and attics. 2 window range, double-hung sashes with single vertical
glazing bars, in plain reveals. There is a central 4-panel door with a C20 portico
with plain columns flanked by C19 canted bays. Roof tiled, with 2 gabled dormers.
The front is protected by C19 cast iron railings.

All the listed buildings around The Green form a group. (Nos 8,10,38,52, and 25 are
buildings of local interest.)
