House. C1400 2 bay cross-wing to former single ended hall-house. Timber flame and plastered
with steeply pitched plain tile roof South facade gabled, 1 window range, C20 small paned
casements. Ground floor window in projecting bay and boarded door under shallow 1st floor
overhang. Late C20 one storey extension to rear in matching materials. Interior retains
substantial frame, including first floor joists centre-tenoned with former jetty exposed internally
with one jetty bracket remaining. Central truss with arched braces to tie-beam, and substantial
square crown post with in-line curved braces. Rafters for former hipped roof and gablet remain
in roof-space with supports for bonnet to gablet remaining in-situ.
