Farmhouse, formerly public house, now house. Early-to-mid C17. Timber
framed, with painted brick infilling. Plain tile roof. Lobby entry plan
of stack bay with right end bay; bay or bays to left of stack missing.
2 storeys and garret on part ragstone, part brick plinth. Broadly spaced
studding of thin scantling. Roof formerly half-hipped to right. Brick
ridge stack to left end. Irregular fenestration of one 2-light casement
to right on each floor. C20 door in left gable end. Blocked door beneath
stack. Later rear lean-to. C19 two-storey addition to right with one first-
floor sash, re-clad in late C20 with tile-hanging and weatherboarding.
Interior: exposed framing. Tooled stone fireplace with 4-centred arched
moulded head. Right gable end of garret retains 6-light diamond wood mullion
window and half hip, within later roof. Clasped purlin roof.
