Cottage. Late C16 - early C17, altered and extended in C19. Plastered cob on
rubble footings; rubble stacks with C19 and C20 brick chimney shafts; thatch roof.
3 room house facing east with entrance lobby and stairs at left (south) end, large
central room with projecting front lateral stack including an oven projection and 2
rooms in right (north) end crosswing which projects a little forward and has an
outer lateral stack. 2 storeys. Irregular 3-window front of late C19 and C20
casements with glazing bars. The window in the front of the crosswing is blocking a
former doorway. Door at left end has half-buried late C16 - early C17 doorframe
with flat-arched head. Hipped roof to crosswing. Interior access not possible at
time of survey.
