Social block of University hall of residence, 1958-60. Sir Leslie Martin and Trevor Dannatt. Buff brick, concrete, timber cladding, flat roof.
Two storeys. Square in plan but with narrow central courtyard containing circular brick staircase. Ground floor recessed to parts, with some floor to ceiling windows. Strip windows above. Timber window frames. Exposed brick internally. Double height space to Junior Common Room. Integral part of former College Hall layout.
