House. 1897. By Joseph goddard of Leicester. Red brick with ashlar dressings and graduated Swithland slate roof with raised coped gables with moulded ashlar kneelers. Blue brick plinth. 2 storey plus attic. North, street front has projecting central wing topped with gable and ball finials. Ground floor has 5-light cross casement window and above 4-light casement both with segment heads. To left integral coach house with double doors and glazing bar overlight, and above two 3-light through eaves dormer windows. Set back to right in return angle, single external stack and canted bay window with 3-light cross casements. To right panelled door with beyond pillared verandah over steps down to basement, with single 2-light casement. Above a 2-light and a 4-light casement window to eaves. South, garden front has central square bay window with 5 sashes, those to upper sashes with glazing bars, hipped slate roof continues to left to cover verandah with 3 sets of French windows, right 4-light casement window, and small single storey gabled wing beyond. Above two 5-light casement windows with segment beads and to right a since 3-light casement. Attic has paired 4-light dormer windows. INTERIOR contains original baluster staircase, contemporary doors and some fireplaces.
