Group of four raised slabs set round north-east corner of Scatcherd Mausoleum

Group of four raised slabs. c1667, 1675, 1695 and 1717. Ashlar. Stone slabs on raised panelled bases. Forms an L-shaped group with three in a row and one above.
The row: that to left to "William Robinson of Drighlington" who died 21st of May 1695. Decoratively-carved border with arched head and winged head of angel in spandrels and with central heart motif with initials. That to centre to "stephen Thompson" who died in 1675. Decoratively-carved borders and central heart motif with initials and date. That to right to "William Thompson" who died in 1667. Decoratively-carved border with heart motif to base. Set above is tomb to "Dorothy the Daughter of the celebrated Edmund Waller of Beaconsfield in the County of Bucks Esqr." who died 18th January 1717. Incised border with carved capitals and arched head with skull keystone and winged-head angel spandrels.
