A handed pair of cottages with date plaque inscribed 'F.H.
AD 1828'.
Watershot masonry, stone slate roof. 2 storeys, double pile on plan under single span roof. 2 cells. Each has doorway with quoined jambs and sill ties. 3-light flat faced mullioined window to each floor. Central stack to ridge.

NB Pitts, Nos. 46 and 47 Pudsey Road listed on 22.2.'84, were listed in error; the intention was to list Nos. 46 and 47 Pitts (off Pudsey Road), Todmorden which are different buildings entirely.
