Two houses, built as one 3-cell open-hall house in C15. 2 storeys. Timber-
framed and roughcast; a deep coved plaster eaves cornice of early C18.
Plaintiled roof. A massive rear C17 chimney of narrow gault brick and another
of C20 red brick. Mid C19 sashes with large panes, one with side lights. C20
4-panelled entrance doors, the upper panels glazed. A C20 garage doorway with
segmental head. Most of the timber-framing is concealed, and the open truss
from the 2-bay hall has apparently been removed. The remainder of the
crownpost roof is complete, with smoke-blackening above the hall. Studwork is
quite widely-spaced. A mid C16 rear wing is jettied along one side wall on
brackets; a moulded binding joist and other framing is exposed; complete plain
crownpost roof with 2-way plank bracing.
