Company offices. Built early C17 as a 3-cell lobby-entrance plan house.
Alterations of mid C19. 2 storeys and attics. Timber-framed, encased at the
front in mid C19 gault brick, with shallow pilasters at bay intervals.
Plaintiled roofs, the eaves reduced in pitch and slated in C19. Flat-roofed
C19 casement dormers. Axial C17 chimney of red brick. C19 small-pane sashes
with moulded cast iron lintels, some windows having louvred shutters.
Recessed panelled C19 entrance door, the upper panel glazed. A long early C17
wing to rear, timber-framed, plastered and plaintiled; this and the front
range have a little exposed framing, and wind-braced clasped-purlin roofs. A
good staircase wing to rear and other remodelling of early or mid C19.
