Farmhouse, now house. C17, altered or remodelled in C18 and C20. Coursed
squared sandstone with large quoins, stone slate roof. Two-unit plan with
added 2-storey rear outshut. Two storeys and 2 bays; almost symmetrical
south front has central doorway with plain surround, coupled square windows
with central flat-faced mullions and plain surrounds, except at ground floor
to the right, which is a single square light. Gable copings with kneelers,
chimney at left gable. Left gable has one C17 recessed 2-light mullioned
window on each floor, the upper lacking the mullion. Right-hand gable wall
has recently-added single-storey bay window at ground floor, recessed
mullioned windows of lights at 1st floor. Rear and interior now of less
interest.
