Farmhouse, now store. Probably later C17, altered in C19 and subsequently. Coursed squared sandstone in large blocks, stone slate roof. Two-unit end-lobby-entry plan with continuous rear outshut. Two storeys; continuous dripmould, stepped over shaped lintel of former doorway at left end (altered as window); to the right, the jambs and head of a former recessed mullioned window (removed to make a square wagon entrance) and further to the right a deeply-recessed four-light mullioned window lacking the first and third mullions; at first floor three coupled C19 sashed windows with plain surrounds (damaged or lacking glazing). Gable copings with moulded kneelers; cut-down chimney at left gable, single-flue chimney at right gable. Left return wall has inserted window at first floor; right-hand return wall has a two-light recessed mullion window near the front corner, three inserted windows further to rear.
Rear: cat-slide roof to single-storey rear wall, which has remains of two square recessed mullion windows in the centre (one blocked), a large ragged opening broken through the wall to the right, an inserted doorway to the left (a later addition to this corner, not included in the item).
Interior: housebody in left half has large chamfered beam with scarf joint approx. Two metres from present chimney breast (indicating former firehood); partitioned lower end; otherwise, altered or damaged.
