Chest tomb. c1812, by Sir John Soane. Portland stone. Tomb has fluted corner
pilasters and recessed panels at each end; shaped top of alternating segmental and
triangular pediments, each with laurel wreath in tympanum and flanked by antefixae.
Part of wrought-iron railings by Soane survive to north of tomb, with urns and
anthemiae to corner panels. Commemorates the painter Philip James De Loutherbourg,
d. 1812, and his wife Lucy,d. 1828.
