House, now divided. Early C16 with C17 extensions. Timber framed on sandstone and ironstone rubble plinth with whitewashed render cladding and infill to exposed first floor frame on right hand return front. C20 plain tiled roofs. L-shaped plan with cross wing to right. Two storeys, jettied on first floor of cross wing with moulded bressumer and bracing. Offset brick dressed stack to right, once colourwashed, further stacks on cross wing and left of centre. One window on each floor of set back range to left. Two leaded casement windows to first floor centre and one window to ground floor. One window on each floor of gabled cross wing with pierced bargeboards above. Half-glazed door to centre left (Old Hall) under flat hood. Further door in right hand return front of the three-bay cross wing (Oak House).
