Beech Tree Farm House

Farmhouse. C17 or earlier, with right end addition as partial rebuilding
of circa 1703 and with later C18 and C20 alterations. Probably timber-
framed. Red and grey brick in Flemish bond to right end. Similar
brickwork of a slightly later appearance to rest of facade. Plain
tile roof. 2 storeys, on brick plinth with flint base. Plat band,
returning round right gable end and rear of right section. Hipped
roof. Brick ridge stack to right of centre. Irregular fenestration
of 4 casements; two three-light to left of stack, one two-light under
stack, and one three-light to right. Segmental heads to two of three
ground-floor windows. Half-glazed door with flat hood under stack.
Decorative datestone to right section inscribed W . Interior not
inspected. L K
