Farmhouse. Early C16 or earlier, with later alterations. Probably
timber framed. Ground floor and left end of first floor painted brick,
rest of first floor rendered. Painted brick to gable ends. Plain
tile roof. 2 storeys. Plat band to left end. Steeply-pitched hipped
roof with gablets. Red brick rear stack to left, multiflue brick
stack in front slope of roof to left of centre, and projecting red
and grey brick stack to right gable end. Irregular fenestration
of 4 casements; one small two-light to left end, one two-light over
door, one three-light to right of stack in a rendered (and probably
C17) section rising through eaves with hipped plain tile roof, and
one two-light casement to right end. Door of six flush panels, with
rectangular four-light fanlight and flat bracketed hood, just to left
of stack. Two-storey rear wing towards centre, painted brick on ground
floor, tile-hung above, with gabled plain tile roof, end stack, and
two two-light casements to long left side. Interior not inspected.
