Public house now including bank premises. Early C19. Dressed watershot stone with slate roof. Six bays with two storeys and wings to left and rear. Projecting stone quoins, dentilled eaves cornice and pediment over bays two and three which are slightly advanced. Flat-faced stone mullion windows of three and two lights to bays one and two respectively. Two doors to bay three, one probably of a later date and with a radial fanlight. Two-light windows to bays four and five and another door to bay six. Sash window to each first floor bay (replaced by casements in bays one and two) with flat-faced stone surrounds. Recessed round panel below pediment. Four ridge chimney stacks. Bays five and six are of a slightly later date as is the left wing and C20 addition to rear.
