1857. A small Gothic/Tudor group arranged symmetrically on one floor, with a
2-storeyed centre. 1.1.1.1.1 windows. Steep red tiled roof with bargeboards to
gables above centre, at each side and above porches (one on each side of the
centre and one at each end). Bell turret above the tall centre gable and a clock
face on the wall within. Tall brick stacks. Red brick walling with blue diaper
patterns, large blue initials in each side gable (H to south and R to north) and
large blue date numbers (18, 57) on each side of the 1st floor window (of the
centre). Mullion and transome casements with diagonal leaded lights. Plain
doors within porches.
