House. 1808 by John Saunders. Brown brick with gault brick dressings, pyramidally
hipped slate roof. 3 storeys over basement on plinth with brick band over ground
floor, boxed eaves and central brick stack. Four bay front, glazing bar sash
windows, majority original, with cemented sills. The windows on the second floor
shallower, those on ground floor in arched recesses. Single storey end bays set
back with 6 panel door to right up a flight of 7 steps with iron hand rail. 3
bay return fronts with blind windows.
The house was formerly divided into two and forms part of a terrace of Officers
houses provided for the Royal Military Academy.
