House with shop. Late C19. Front of red brick in Flemish bond
with raised brick quoins and eaves cornice of moulded brick;
timber shopfront; returns of orange-cream mottled brick in
English garden-wall bond; brick stacks to slate roof.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys and attic; 1-window front. Shopfront
framed in sunk-panel pilasters with plain fascia and dentil
cornice terminated by elaborate carved console brackets
crowned with pointed oviform finials: plate glass window over
panelled riser, curves on corner to recessed 4-panel door at
right: shop entered through replacement door to left of inner
lobby; glazed wall cabinet in lobby. First floor window is
3-light elliptical bay with 1-pane centre sash between
Composite colonnette mullions beneath prominent moulded dentil
cornice. Second floor has two 1-pane sash windows with painted
stone sills and segmental arches. Segment-gabled dormer with
1-pane sash to attic.
