Pair of cottages. Probably C18. Plastered cob on rubble footings; rubble or cob
stacks topped with C20 brick; thatched roof. L-shaped building with main block
facing south-east and rear wing projecting at right angles behind left (south-west)
end. Most of front block to right (north-east) comprises one 2-room cottage; left
end and rear block comprises second 2-room cottage. Projecting stack on left
(north-east) end to right cottage and axial stack in rear block to left cottage. 2
storeys. Irregular 4-window front of C20 casements. Right cottage has symmetrical
3-window front with central door and C20 porch. Door to left with similar porch
into left cottage and windows at left end on different levels than those to right.
Roof is hipped each end and to rear. Carpentry detail is blocked or boxed in with
C20 fittings.
