Former Methodist Primary School. 1846. Inscribed and dated plaque in pediment over slightly projecting central bay. One-storey, three wide bays. Coursed ashlar, raised quoins, plinths, cornice and parapet. Sash windows with glazing bars, tripartite in centre, in architraves under console bracketed cornices. Three-bay north return has plain, sills and lintels to tripartite windows which are fixed lights with small panes. South return similar and there are further, humbler rear parts of coursed stone with fairly low pitched slated roofs. These have sash windows with glazing bars.
