Former militia stores at barracks. 1854, extended later in C19 and converted to residential use after 1994. English bond red brick with vitrified headers, brick band at first floor level, rusticated brick quoins and moulded brick eaves cornice. Slate roof with gabled ends. Brick lateral stacks. Rectangular plan with small later C19 outshut on south end. Two storeys on tall plinth. Asymmetrical six window range. Twelve-pane sashes with flat brick arches, ground floor large sashes, first floor smaller and almost square. Lateral brick stack slightly projects to right of centre. Three smaller sashes inserted later on ground floor and doorway inserted on right of first floor with fire escape stairs. Oculus in gable ends, south end has small later C19 brick outshut.
