Circa 1850 red brick block of 5 storeys and attic, the right hand corner curving
round to return to Nos 37 and 39. 1st and 2nd floor sill bands. Moulded eaves
cornice. Low pitch hipped slate roof. 2 flat roofed dormers with glazed cheeks.
3 windows to upper floors, that to right set on curve, recessed sashes, glazing
bars intact, flat gauged brick arches. Ground floor has 2 mid C19 shop fronts
with pilaster frames, altered glazing, panelled doors, frieze and common moulded
cornice.
Nos 37 to 43 (odd) form a group.
