Shop. Early C18, refronted and altered in mid C19; C20
alterations and shopfront. Incised stucco, colour-washed, with
roofs of slate and tile.
EXTERIOR: 3-storey, 2-window front. Three-quarter glazed shop
door between plate glass windows beneath deep fascia and
moulded cornice. Upper floor windows are 12-pane sashes with
slender glazing bars and painted stone sills. Plain eaves
frieze beneath moulded cornice. Ornate tie rod plate between
second floor windows. Rear: 3 storeys with attic; 3-window
gable end. Ground and first floor obscured by later building.
Second floor has projecting bay to left, with shaped parapet.
Windows are tall 12-pane sashes, with narrow one in left bay.
Attic window is squat 12-pane sash. Raised bands at attic
level and to gable edge.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
