House. Later C16 single storey two bay house, extended by a half bay to the west in the late C18 when a further floor was probably inserted and with large C20 wing in matching materials to the south which is not of special interest. Timberframed, rendered and colourwashed with battered base to earlier wing. Thatched roof and brick chimneystack between original two bays. One storey and attic in gable end. Irregular fenestration with one eyebrow dormer, sliding casement to rear gable and casements, one with ornamental wooden shutters. Entrance now through C20 wing. Interior has the unusual survival of a C16 timber fireplace with the lintel tenoned into a post (with chamfer and cut stop) and with sides of stud and daub. Roof of collar and side-purlin construction. Rear room has handsome late C18 corner cupboard with moulded cornice, panelled doors and H-hinges.
