Memorial drinking fountain. Dated 1912. Commemorates John
Cross, superintendent of police. Limestone with bronze plaque.
Square round-headed pillar with projected segmental bowl to
round-headed niche, and above this a bronze plaque with a
small relief portrait of John Cross in officer's cap, and
lettering commemorating 17 years of public service
distinguished by kindness to the people of Seaforth, including
the organisation of soup kitchens for the poor.
