Two houses. 1827-8. Brick with slate roof.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys above a basement. Each house 2 bays. The
windows, including the basement windows, are glazing bar
sashes. Each house has a single window on the ground floor,
with a segmental head. The 1st floor windows have a sill band.
The doorways, at the left, are reached by external stone steps
and have doorcases with engaged fluted columns, friezes with
triglyphs, and mutuled cornices. The doors have 6 raised and
fielded columns and above them there are plain semicircular
overlights. The gutters are carried on rectangular timber
brackets. Ridge chimneys to left of each house, and axial
stacks behind ridge of each house.
