Had this rare Knight which now here sleeps in rest
Twelve precious Stones like Aaron on his breast
All graven to Epitaphs they might in part
Come neere though not reach home his knowne desert
But when his holie life, his heavenly learning
His Hebrew Tonnge, his Head deepe thinges deserning
Free Hart, free Hand, full age, with honoured hayres
Greet with cowntryes prayse and Clergies prayers
Have but on stone to speake. It cant speake all
His Worths so great. Alas one stones too small
Wouldst know him more first learne live dye the same
Follow him to heaven there reade his perfect name

For the religious Lady Lucy (only wife of ye wise Sir Richard Reynel knight) who left earth on ye resurrection Day ap. 18 1652.

Loe here sate Majesty with meekness crowned
Vailed under reverence was courtship found
Composed were all such graces in her mind
Ye knew in morralist a Christian shin'd

Refuge of strangers, prophets jointuresse
Easy chirugeon, poore man's treasuresse
Youth's awe and age's honour to God when
Not thus to nan imployed in prayers and pen
Eate through this marble if time can, she hath
Left upon living stones her Epitaph
