GV II*

House, now shop and offices. Late C15, with later extension;
refronted in early C19; C20 renovation and shopfront.
Timber-frame, fronted in brown-cream mottled brick in
stretcher bond with orange brick dressings; moulded modillion
eaves cornice of timber; hipped pantile roof with corner
scrolls and brick stacks.
EXTERIOR: 3-storey 2-window front. Board shop door to left of
4-light small-pane window with external counter; 6-panel
passage door at right end; all openings beneath boarded
canopy. First and second floor windows are 12-pane sashes with
narrow painted sills and flat arches of gauged brick. 3-course
raised brick band to second floor.
INTERIOR: timber-frame, beams and joists exposed on all
floors. Original door lintel with 4-centred arch survives at
rear of ground floor passage.
