Pair of semi-detached houses. Mid C19. Red brick with stuccoed
front elevation and slate roofs; 2 stacks above each flank
wall of main block.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; symmetrical 4-window range with recessed
centre; lower 2-storey gabled slate-roofed ranges at rear.
Front has pedimental gables to projecting ends, which have
broad pilasters and tripartite sash windows on each floor;
sashes are margin glazed with extra central vertical glazing
bar, and ground floor windows have floating consoled cornice.
The recessed centre has, on the 1st floor 2 narrow, similar
windows separated by a small pilaster; the ground floor has 2
entrance doors recessed within porch under entablature with
pilasters in antis; one has contemporary door of 2 moulded
semicircular-headed panels.
INTERIOR: No.33 has staircase with turned bobbin-like
balusters.
