Row of cottages. Mid C18 with C19 additions and alterations.
Red brick, stone slate roofs to Nos 222-228; slate roof to
No.220. 2 storeys, 7 first-floor windows, rear outshut. Quoins
left. Plain doors, segmental arches to ground floor, 4-pane
sashes. The left 3-window range has the appearance of a mid
C18 house with end stacks, now 2 cottages, additional bays to
east, each with a stack right.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
No.228 is reputed to have been used as a Methodist meeting
house until c1860. No.218 is the office of the Leeds City
Council Countryside Ranger Service.
