Warehouse, now offices. 1850-60. Restored 1885 following a
fire, by WA Heazell of Nottingham for Jacoby & Co. Red brick
with ashlar dressings and slate roof. Rusticated ashlar
basement, sill bands, tile panelled frieze, cornice, renewed
brick coped parapet. Corner block, 4 storeys plus basement; 8
x 4 windows. Windows are segment-arched plain sashes with
projecting surrounds and keystones. Rebated rounded corner bay
has paired windows on each floor and 2 basement openings. Main
front, to Broadway, has regular fenestration with an
off-centre entrance. Moulded segment-arched doorcase with
keystone, round-arched panelled double doors with fanlight,
shafts and enriched spandrels. 7 blank basement openings with
keystones. Left return, to Stoney Street, 4 windows, has
regular fenestration. Basement has 3 windows, and a door to
left.
