House, now shop. Dated 1713, but incorporating an earlier
structure itself dated 1577. Painted brick encasing
timber-frame, with plain tiled roof.
3 storeys, 3-window range. 8-pane sash windows with
flat-arched, finely gauged brick heads, and moulded sills with
vestigial aprons. Doorway to left, and early C20 shop front
with 3-light window, and plain consoles to fascia. Entry to
passage to right. 2 pedimented dormers in the roof.
Overhanging eaves cornice with modillions. Angle quoins and
sill bands. Moulded beam to side elevation with initials G.P
and date 1577.
INTERIOR: early C18 staircase with turned balusters.
