House, latterly 2 dwellings. Early to mid C17, altered and extended C19.
Timber frame, roughcast. Thatched roof. Flint and red brick additions. A
small 3 cell lobby entrance plan. 1 storey and attic. Entrance slightly to
right of centre, a part glazed boarded door, 1 and 2-light glazing bar
casements, two 2-light gabled dormers with wavy bargeboards, axial ridge stack
to right of centre between hall and parlour. Gable end attic 2-light
casements, exposed plates and purlins, low flint and brick outshuts. To rear
a boarded door at service end, a boarded and pantiled lean-to outshut.
Interior: frame concealed, stop chamfered cross axial binding beams and joists
in hall, some reused early C18 barley sugar balusters on stair landing, roof
concealed.
