8/215 Two monuments in the churchyard
between 7 and 11 metres north
of nave of Church of St Mary
GV II
Two chest tombs. North of pair to Louisa Barton died 1833, south
one probably early C18. Limestone. Barton tomb has two egg and
dart moulded panels to south side, one large panel flanked by
carved urn with drapery to north side, quarter balusters and fluted
frieze to weathered top. Unidentified south tomb is low with
ogee-shaped sides to chamfered flat top.
