House. Early C19. Flemish bond brick with brick end stacks to gabled concrete tile (originally slate)
roof. Central stairhall plan with rear service outshot. 2 storeys. Symmetrical 3-window front with
voussoirs to flat stone arches over 6/6-pane sashes and 6-panel door with lozenge-pattern overlight
set in classical doorcase. Some alteration to rear. Interior noted as having survived in a remarkably
complete state of preservation, with original joinery including panelled shutters and doors set in
moulded architraves, some fluted with corner rosettes, open-well stair with stick balusters; original
chimneypieces with original cast-iron grates.
