Pair of houses. Later C18. Squared sandstone, stone slate roof. Each is of
2 units, 2 storeys under one roof, each double-fronted and almost
symmetrical, but No. 62 has a longer facade; doorways offset respectively
left and right of centre, with plain surrounds and modern pitched canopies;
each has 2 windows on each floor, all with flat-faced flush mullions and
plain surrounds and all of 3 lights except that at ground floor. Left of No.
60 which is of 2 lights. Attached to upper left corner of No. 62 is C19 iron
street name plate "TOWN STREET". Moulded gutter brackets; chimneys at both
gables and another on ridge at junction. (Item abuts rear of No. 58 (q.v.)
at right-hand end).
