1911, architect J.N. Randall-Vining. It was built for a director of Liberty's
and has an outstanding and complete interior of the period in a Liberty's style
of interior design. Exterior of two storeys and attics. Centre and two pro-
jecting wings. Ground floor red brick, first floor partly hung with fishscale
tiles and partly applied timbering with roughcast infill. Tiled roof with
clustered chimney stacks. Two gables with attic windows. Central four-light
dormer. Windows are mainly mullioned and transomed casements with leaded
lights and include a two storey bay on the left hand side. Gabled tiled
weather porch. The rear elevation is similar but symmetrical and includes two-
storey bays having 'Ipswich' glazing on the ground floor and central first
floor window of five lights with mullions and transoms incorporating an oval
window. Wooden porch with square piers.

The interior includes an oak panelled dining room with baronial style fireplace
and original light fittings, a panelled music room with Art Nouveau stained
glass windows and decorative metal grille concealing radiator, a panelled
entrance hall having well staircase with wooden rail and cast iron panels in
place of balusters; stair well, lounge, and study with plasterwork and fire-
places in the style of Louis Quinze; a bathroom with decorative Art Nouveau
ceramic tiles in the form of dolphins, and bedroom with contemporary wooden
built-in cupboards.
