The houses in front of this building (Nos 1-7, odd) were built in 1894. There was
presumably an C18 farmhouse on this site and that of the enclosure adjoining, known as
The Village, before that date. This must have been an ornamental gazebo in its grounds.
C18. Small rectangular building of two storeys faced with cobbles with red brick dressings
and quoins. Pyramidical tiled roof. The windows on the first floor have been enlarged.
