Early C19 pair of cottages. Two storeys red brick on rendered plinth. Low pitch gable end slate roof, brick eaves cornice. Three windows first floor, centre blind, recessed sashes, glazing bars intact, segmental brick arches, stuccoed block sills. On ground floor one window to left and right sash, one pane wider than on first floor. Central passage door with elliptical open fanlight and brick arch over.

Nos 47 to 57 (odd) form a group.
