Detached cottage. C17, refronted C18. Square-panelled timber-
framing with English bond brick front, thatched roof with half-hip
to left and large rubble stone stack to right. Two-bay. Single-
storey and attic, 2-window. Four-panelled door in gabled porch to
left of centre, 3-light segmental-headed casement with keystone
either side. Two eyebrow attic dormers with 2-light casements.
C20 addition attached to left return. Large projecting stack to
right return. Timber-framed rear with brick nogging, 2-light
casements and eyebrow dormer with leaded casement, C20 porch to
right. Interior not accessible at time of survey (December 1986),
but said to retain open fireplace with chamfered lintel and curved
corners, chamfered beams with bar stops, planked doors and timber-
framed partitions. Roof has collar trusses with coupled rafters.
